viking
question, what would you say is more rarer, a series one land rover or a series 3 county station wagon, given the series 1 was made for 10 years and the series 3 csw only 4 years, but the obvious compensation is that the series 1 is a lot older. hence my question?? ditchman
there is a web site you can go on and find out how many of those models are still registered............
SpringDon
Series 1 is worth more currently but I'd guess a genuine station wagon is rarer ( stressing the genuine, there lots of bitsa ones)
viking
there is a web site you can go on and find out how many of those models are still registered............ i was wondering if there was such a thing next job is to find it Series 1 is worth more currently but I'd guess a genuine station wagon is rarer ( stressing the genuine, there lots of bitsa ones) i read somewhere there were no letters/numbers on the chassis to determine a csw, but mine states it on the log book, it better be ******* genuine first person to find the website wins a lolly

There's a fair few of those around, particularly those with the orangey chassis.

viking
today's main topic of conversation, was colour, i know when i bought it it was advertised as russet brown, but had been painted outside a slight lighter colour of brown. when i was talking to the paint sprayer i went on the internet, land rover webpage and got the russet brown paint code and told him it, now looking at it against the original colour inside the rear tub it couldn't look more different, i know they also did a ronan brown from 1983, so as we stand we have no idea what colour it was or is, log book says brown. viking
as is now, looks nothing like russet or ronan

viking
I'd say that was the colour it was when I got it. But darker underneath. And maybe the colour it is now. Only newer and shinier now so that might be throwing me a bit.
viking
If you look back to the first page it shows the colour of how it was.
