last job i thought id put the new baring in the top of the steering column, what i thought would take 5 mins took a good hour, first i had to free nuts and bolt off, then got the shatf off, took a while to get the baring out, had to use one of my old steering arms to bash it out,

put the new one in the top, had to bang in in with a hammer and a block of wood, put shaft back on but it was tight when the baring reaches main steering shaft, i had to bang it off with a hammer and chisel so thought id do the same to get it on, what could go wrong, nice and gentle slowly slowly :lol::lol:

Funny how all the good ones are collection only. I was after one but ended up repairing mine with a panel from the Welding Woods.

im liking that mate, very very much :good::good:

Cheers mate, come matching boots and my daily driver is done.

Thinking I may be able to get in a Series Lightweight before the Winter Caterham build. Was offered one last week but the bulkhead was too far gone to make it cost effective.
