deershooter
This competition needs the B &C class shooters to make up the numbers this year I know at least 30 people who are not going because of who is running it .Hardly any one shot any where ne'er there CPSA average at the last one . Last year there was no atmosphere it was like shooting a comp on the moon I didn't feel good or impressed with it ,yet the year before Hepworth Hall was really good and felt proud to be there I still didn't shoot well but Dysons targets were much better presented and fair for all
kingo15
to be honest i shot the Essex masters this year and felt the 2 courses were so different it was like 2 different shoots and had no consistency, Where as the British open is called that for a reason. Surely they were supposed to be 2 different layouts?

If 30 people have dropped out they seemed to have been replaced by other shooters as the shoot is booked up and they have opened up a Thursday night squad rotation to accommodate the numbers. Also I enjoyed the atmosphere, I agree Dyson also puts on a fantastic shoot and I personally have never been to a bad one of his shoots but I do know of people complaining about his British open as well. Just goes to show you are not going to please everyone.
