Description

Brace of Westley Richards Drop locks in original condition, matched and balanced in circa 1920 by Westley Richards , serial numbers 16400 and 17706. Gun number 1 is proofed at .729 right and left at .729 and measures .731 and .731. Gun number 2 is proofed at right .729 and left at .729 and measures .731 and .732 respectively. Comes with single leather and oak maker’s case and double leather and oak maker’s case with canvas outer. A paper history of their service dating back to 1953. REF PG363 and PG364

If they have non consecutive serial numbers they are not a matched pair they are maybe more accurately described as a composed pair!

As I said above. I'm not knocking the sale or the integrity of Powys Guns but at nearly £10k they should be more accurately described?
