Gavin_d
Hi guys. Managed to do a tiny bit of shooting today (very busy at the min) and the top ejector would intermittently not work. Will have a look at it once kids are in bed but wondering if anyone could shed some light. Thanks all.

Gordon R
Blast it clean with compressed air and then apply some lubricant. Slide the ejector up and down until it frees up.
Gavin_d
Thanks for all the help guys. Well I've check pins and oiled lightly for ejectors but noticed this with the fire pins. Is this normal. One springs back but the other one won't. http://youtu.be/iuSK27qf7GA Edited September 19, 2015 by Gavin_d

bruno22rf
Firing pin return spring has most likely snapped - simple job but with the ejector playing up as well it might be wise to get a decent gunsmith to give her the once over. Junkyard Dog
They only have a spring in the bottom barrel to stop it snagging.. Ejector can be any of the following 1. Ejector spring weak or cracked in the forend 2. Tripping dog/ sear worn 3. Cocking rod sticking in the action through dirt Edited September 20, 2015 by Junkyard Dog
bruno22rf
If they only have a spring in the bottom barrel-why is the top pin "springing back"?
Junkyard Dog
If they only have a spring in the bottom barrel-why is the top pin "springing back"? Somebody must have been "Servicing it," the gun is made with a spring on the bottom pin only none on the top. See Brownells for a schematic, look at Browning Citori. Gunman
More than likely in need of timing adjustment . Possibly wear on the ejector tripper rod . Not a DIY job . Questions- Does the gun not eject at all or intermittently ? Does it eject but not throw the case out ? If it does eject do both eject together ? Have you changed cartridges ? Does the gun eject if opened fully and quickly not slowly catching the cases in hand ?
Gavin_d
Thanks guys. It is the bottom pin that springs back. I've given it all a good clean so will see how it goes. If no better then will take to a gun smith for a good once over. Thanks guys.
