bruno22rf
I think they are struggling as I seem to recall that they are short staffed-best just ring them and ask-they are always polite and very helpful.
Dunkield
I have heard nightmare stories in turnaround time recently, to be honest I thought they were over all this, but it seems not.
Zetter
Spoke to my FEO yesterday regarding a variation I want to put in for and they are down on staff 30% due to budget cuts so have bigger areas now she was all over the shop by the sounds of it at the moment. Also the main office had a water leak earlier this year and they are still sorting that due to there being asbestos present. She told me they are issuing temporary permits at a rate of knots at the moment to allow them to get on top of stuff and prioritizing renewals and variations over grants so it will be a long wait by the sounds of it for a grant as you will be at the bottom of the pile . To give you an idea the lad in our local RFD put in for his grant in January February time and finally got his ticket in August. As Bruno said they are top draw and really helpful with queries but are really up against it at the moment, being peak renewal year hasnt helped either. Dunkield
Hopefully they will have sorted this mess out in three years time

oldypigeonpopper
happy days glad for you I would like a cz452 and ruger 10/22 how long was it form posting your application to getting the interview hello, was about five weeks before i was given an interview date then 2 weeks to interview but had to have a mentor and doctors note then land check which is why mine took more than usual time of over 3 months, if you only need the land check i should think will be less time, yes the 452 has now been replaced with the 455 so i bought a new one and it is a good rifle with warranty, 16 inch barrel and SAK mod with rimmy scope. it looks good and shoots spot on,. anyway good luck.
