Farma Geddon
What's wrong with RP12S? But ,yes it should not increase pressures.

I would be happy to use them if I could get hold of them, do you know a stockist in the UK ?
roughshooter
If it was me then I would use a gualandi gas seal and a fibre. If I was using a standard over powder card then I would increase the powder. I would think a B&P 28 or B&P 32 would replace the Remington wad Edited October 6, 2015 by roughshooter
islandgun
Thanks roughshooter, I do like the sound of a completely fibre load, but I will be going to Clay&game next week and will check out your suggestions, Does anyone know if bismuth patterns tighter than lead,
Smokersmith
I've been loading several variants of the 32g lead Longshot load. I'm now 4 grains below the recipe and getting 1405 fps on the chrono. A good tight Gaep finish seems to be working wonders on the consistency of these. Bismuth can pattern well, but best to check ..... If you've plenty of room on pressure, PSB can do wonders for the pattern. Proof house results for an 8g Bismuth load with this buffer turned out really well, but use with caution.
