Have got myself a 2007 swb shogun equippe. Its an auto. Is there any tuning/chips etc I can purchase to give it abit more oomph on take off? It's not too bad but wouldn't mind a few extra pony's.

Any recommendations welcomed

Also...what tyres would you recommend, will be in mud most weekends on various shoots and also likely to see a good ding of snow where I live, but will be driven on tarmac daily also

Thanks

Odd question as I have a bog standard 2007 lwb 3.2 elegance which is like a whippet away from the lights for its size and weight, maybe yours needs some tlc ? I've got pretty standard bridgestones on mine and although I don't spend a lot of time. Off-roading I've been through a few very boggy fields and plenty of snow with it and have yet to get stuck anywhere.

first job id do is to blank off the egr valve off assuming its a diesel that is .

have a look on 4x4at.com for tyres I got some remoulds off them that were brilliant off road and lasted ages

This. Mine is the 2.8 and it makes a big difference, I think MPG improves as well. The kits are about a tenner on evilbay.
