team tractor
I need help from the pw massive again please. I'm looking at buying my daughter a 3d pen set for Xmas but I don't want her to be disappointed. Has anyone had any dealings with them ? ShootingEgg
I have done. I work for a company who do alot of work with digital futures. And this is one i have used. Theybare still in very early stages but this one is probably best one ive used. http://www.firebox.com/product/7029/3Doodler-2.0?aff=1108&gclid=Cj0KEQjw5MGxBRDiuZm2icXX2-sBEiQA619bqzKtsULGYdozgYtogQeZ-TgNcT9X2FeBAVbybeeljTAaAn3L8P8HAQ Cheers Adam
mick miller
Hmm, a lot of talk amongst us users of 3D printers about the hazards of using ABS – there's some pretty nasty stuff created when it's heated and melted. Worth seeing if this pen (or others like it) can work with a co-polyester material like ColorFabb XT as it's a lot nicer to be around. Just saying like as you said it was for your nipper. markm
I've got 3Doodler 2.0 for both my sons. I will only be able to let you know what they're like on 25th December.
ShootingEgg
Thats a good point to bring up mick, i was not aware of that. I believe the doodler can be used with abs pla and flexy. Cheers Adam

One thing i will say is practice makes perfect.. I personally think they are a cool bit of kit and have used them at conferences that ive been demonstrating kit, doodler being one item.. I have used both original and 2.

mick miller
I'd use the PLA in that case, it also has the benefit of being biodegradable (so long as you compost it at high temperature).
