Gun Watch
Lewis, G. E. 12g magnum hammer gun £850 12 gauge Shotgun Private Seller Used - Excellent Condition Kirkcaldy, Fife Side by Side, Full Choke, Full Choke, 32" barrels Description This is a 3" chambered gun with 32" barrels choked full & full. The guns has been completely overhauled and is in excellent condition. The gunsmith i bought it from used the gun last season and had a few geese with it. I've used it only for some clay shooting.Selling as i intended getting the chokes eased out and putting light steel loads through it for duck.I decided against this as it would be an act of vandalism on a piece of wildfowling history.Barrels are superb and very thick. Im in no rush to sell so no daft offers please. This gun is being sold by Pigeon Watch member bishop. AberFowl
I will have to give some gifts to the better half and see if I can get the nod to purchase another gun!
rjimmer
Classic gun, no other word for it. A friend of mine once had one, and cut the end of the barrels off because it was choked so tight.

bruno22rf
Doubt that she was made as late as 1927?-my guess would be 1880-1910-proof marks should give you a clue. BTW-the right hammer looks way off centre for the striker? Edited November 9, 2015 by bruno22rf
bishop
its the angle of the picture Bruno.hammers sit where they are supposed to.The gunsmiths that sold this to myself are well renowned for their skills and their reputation is solid.I was advised 1927 thru the serial number. But thank you for your input.Ill let them know of your opinions and quite possibly they can let you know theirs.
