B25Modelman
OK I decided to open a new topic. Good Points: Low recoil. Comfortable, light to the feel and easy to mount. Nice looking. I like the clip on forend. Invector Plus chokes stay in place after 100+ rounds. No need to buy Teague options as I did before getting the gun....silly me. Easy to clean/maintain. Cycles well with 28g #8 fibres. Only had one flame out so far, eyebrows still intact though. Bad Points: Poorly designed HiViz (PM2003) front sight. Already lost one LitePipe and there are no spare in the UK. Working on importing some. Mag Cut-off protrusion for right handed shooters. I removed it and plated the hole. I can just feel the safety catch under my trigger finger. Would like it to go in say another 1 or 2 mm. The flat plate stock choke key is poor. I bought a Browning Speed key. Though not a bad point, the Grade 3 stock wood while having good pattern/colour it is a little grainy. Otherwise I am happy with my spend. I have not noticed the brown effect but yes I have to very lightly oil coat mine to keep it jet black. alastair0903
Try cutting around 2 or 3 mm off the front of the light pipe , i have found if it doesn not stick out proud then the pipe does not get knocked out . I have lost loads , think i might be onto white ones next time one goes missing again !! And i have had no problems with the camo barrle , got loads of scrathches from genral abuse . Maxus Hunter
The new ones don't have the same sight, I traded my grade 3 in thst I've had for 4 years for a camo version, the site is still vibre optic but just the normal screw in with no alterations, it's a good job compared to the other one

The Camo Infinity has a plain ball...looks like either a red ball or brass. The Camo Mx 5 looks like a much shorter HiViz and well back from the end of the barrel. Browning obviously could not make up their mind which type to fit. When the time comes I am going to remove the HiViz and fit one of these. Numbers 2, 7, 8, 12, 23 and 28 being the correct thread, 3mm, and the most appropriate. Edited November 15, 2015 by B25Modelman

B25Modelman
I have been out today, at Spitfire, to put another 120 cartridges through the gun. I started with the stock cylinder choke but decided it was too open and reverted to the 1/4 which, IMHO, produced much cleaner brakes. I had one jam which was due to a rogue pickup cartridge from a few weeks back. My normal JC CPS Competition #8 28g fibres all worked flawlessly. Unfortunately I could not find the rogue to reveal all. Also, I did not loose the lightpipe.
neutron619
I put a steel bead (3mm type from Bushwear I think) on the front of mine after getting fed up with the hi-viz thingamibob. Looks a lot better and I don't find myself trying to look down the barrel so much now. I shoot better because of it.

After a weeks wait, HiViz USA replied to my email saying there is currently no supplier* of spare pipes in the UK. The sender did say I could buy direct from them or that he could post me a few spares. As he did not say how much postage was I opted for the latter...providing my address. I did not hear back so assume some may arrive. As for the *...while complaining to a Major UK importer of the HiViz units I have been informed that spares may be available in the UK before Xmas. Watch this space.
