deershooter
Winchester Supreme ammo is very good but expensive I use it in my 300wsm £2.00 a bang I now load with nosler combined tecnology ballistic tip bullets these are what winchester are using they are not molly coated they are coated with a substance called lubealox which reduces friction without the mess of molly Deershooter
Bazooka Joe
deershooter, Thanks for the reply. How do you rate these Ballistic Tip Bullets, compared to the likes of Hornady V-Max, & Remington Accu-Tip? BJ
JRDS
They have a good reputation but the only way to see if they suit your rifle is to buy a box and try them, all are different to a degree.
222Rem
I bought a couple of boxes of Winchester Supreme 40gr Silvertip in .222 yesterday @ £17.10 a box...! They group slightly better than the Federal V-shok 40gr Ballistic Tip I tried the other week @ 18.50 a box...!! Both were better than the Remington 50gr PSP I have been using for last 6 years, thought it was time for a change although they cost alot more. Not sure if this helps. Vince Green
A lot of Winchester ammo is made for them by Sellier & Bellot now. Always look on the box to see where it was made.
