Farma Geddon
Look like you are trying too hard with your crimp
biketestace
Does this happen if you use once fired cases ?
widgeon man
This looks quite a 'tight' fitting load, I experience this with some steel loads. One way I overcame the problem was not crimping too deep, but finishing the crimp with a Gaep finishing head on a pillar drill. Can you not reduce fibre wad depth for that load? Or use a low base wad hull? Once fired will crimp better too....
sitsinhedges
I would try trimming a couple of mm off the wad and see how that goes. The crimps look fine to me so I wouldn't try and change them but anything is worth a try.

biketestace
Poor quality or bad batch of cases ? I say this as iv had the same problem with some new 20g and 28g fiocchi cases, the loading in each case is exactly the same but I will get one or two buckle but 20 or so more that wont, It could be a set up problem but I cannot help you there as I don't use a mec. Farma Geddon
Your best bet is to crimp just flat ,with no depth and use a Gaep finishing head on the crimp. These put pressure on the centre section of the crimp and are unlikely to buckle your case.
