Goldfish
If I was shooting a load like that I would take a 12 bore as Express 32 out of a 20 bore can be very punchy but if your only shooting a few have a test run on some roosting pigeons
Nmb
Has anyone tried the express 5 shot 32grams in 20 bore got some high bird days coming up and not sure whether to get some I normally shoot eley vipI tried a box along with black gold 32g- 4.5's both shot well and cleanly killed some decent birds. I'm a big lad so didn't feel too much kick however only fired about 30 cartridges. Just to throw another option out there I have tried loads of brands, sizes etc and have settled on pure gold 30g 6's seemed work best for me through the 20 bore. sitsinhedges
32gram loads in 20 bore can be very slow to keep within pressure guidelines regardless of what it says on the box. I would go for 28gram of 5/6 with some choking to keep the pattern together. Edit: I chrono'ed some of those shells a while ago for forum member Numpty and they were doing low 1100's He using 28g / 6 of RC Sipe now I believe. 8 shot
I use the 30g 5 version very smooth and low recoil and cheap
Continental Shooter
I'm with Cook on that. Show 6 cartridges, 34gr self loaded and got 4 geese this morning.... pointing is key. I use to shoot 32 gr Bornaghi and was well impressed... really high roosting pigeon went home with me in the past
