fishbone
As the title suggests I shoot a field of rape. A large flock is hammering the middle of the field. Whats the experts thoughts on setting up shop in the centre of a field? Will it spook the birds etc? D
fenboy
I often shoot like that , no it will not scare the birds if you keep movement to a minimum , rise to shoot as slowly and smoothly as you can and make sure you use plenty of netting especially behind you. pigeon controller
See the topic " Naked Hide " below, that works well out in the field with netting all round it.
ShropshireSam
The back of the hide should be dark/shaded as possible so they don't see you within the hide against a light background. A fishing brolly as in post above is ideal for this.
