Robby22
Hi, I will soon be reloading my own 243 ammunition, and will be looking to use 75gr Vmax heads. I just wondered what primers and powder combinations people are using? Just to give me an idea of what to at least try first. Any feedback appreciated. Thanks, Will

Bewsher500
take what you can get locally and regularly whatever anyone else is using may not work well in your rifle anyway N140, Varget, 4350, RL10 etc etc primers are primers IMO very few loads I have ever played with failed to be accurate due to primer choice I am using Magnum Small rifle in a .222 at the moment just because I had 500 of them lying around. work fine (worked up obviously!) dicehorn
Varget my choice in this bullet weight. Primers? Just use whatever large rifle benchrest type primers you can get or have +1 although there are quite a few powders that will suffice. I use Varget with the 75 gr Vmax in the 3 I reload for. I am normally a Vihtavuori man but found that in the rifles (RPA, Sako 75 and Steyr) it seemed to perform well.
