Outdoorsman
So is there a reason why only the outside wing on my DIY hypa flap will flap properly, the inside one does slightly but not to the extent the outside does, ive never encountered this before but ive had to change the wings and material, this is on a magnet btw or whirly what ever you want to call them cheers
rabbiter
I think we would have to see what you've made and with what materials mate
TIGHTCHOKE
The outside wing will always flap more due to going faster than the inside wing!

TIGHTCHOKE
Do you angle them inwards?
Bluebarrels
Like he said u need to angle them in,and both wings will flap the same, well they do on my hyper flaps but sometimes it takes a bit of faffing to get them right,BB
fenman99
What winds have you tried them in? fenman99
Outdoorsman
No wind, and what do we mean angle them in ? Its only 1.5 mm rods ive never had the need to go bigger when in stronger wind.
Bluebarrels
Angle them in means don't have them flying flat on the magnet, tilt the birds inwards towards the centre or the magnet which I find presents the birds better and both wings tend to flap at more or less the same speed,BB
fenman99
Also try in good winds as this will make a difference. The stronger the wind the thicker the carbon spar will have to be. I have 3 thickness of carbon spar available from model shops. fenman99
