Victory hulls

Recommended Posts

Hi guys i have recently been favouring the victory hulls mainly the white rabbit and starlight hull for my reloading and also the victory pigeon. Mainly because i found i get a much better final crimp on the loadall. I just wonderd is there anyone else like me on here who favours these hulls to reload?

Also are these hulls a cf or pt type hull? Only reason i ask is i have found the bnp z21 wads i use go in and fit perfect in the white rabbits and starlight hull but the victory pigeon hulls the gas seal twists and goes in on a angle and im unsure on how to rectify it any suggestions guys?

To be honest im not that fussy on my crimps but after reloading black gold, hull high pheasant rc sipe cheddite and winchester hulls i found they give a better looking crimp. The gulandi wads go in perfect but because of the base wad i think they open back up but with bnp wads they work a treat.

Also while its in my head. Is it me or is the vectan powder you get off clay and game more bulky or lighter then the stuff direct of vectan?

Reason i ask is because i got given a bit of AS when i started and liked it so purchased some from clay and game and the powder drop from the CnG stuff looks like theres more then the old stuff i used to have and the only reason i know that is because i cut open one of the first lot i did and wieghed 21.6 grain the same drop using the AS off CnG and it looks like theres a larger volume of powder.
