ElvisThePelvis
Hi Looking for suggestions for rat traps please. Rats are coming into my garden to feast on the food under the bird table, they have dug a hole under the fence so I guess trapping will be straight forward. Life is to short to stand waiting for them with an air gun.. Thanks
felly100
Mk 4 Fenn trap. Set it up so as you don't kill hedgehogs etc.
Dekers
Professionally I can't site exposed traps externally, they have to be protected from non target species, wildlife, pets, birds, children etc. For example......
ElvisThePelvis
Thanks, I opted for a live trap in the end with a view of close range air rifle delivering the coup de grace, there are too many non target species to use a Fenn. Peanut butter bait hasn't worked yet though..
hushpower
Monarch live trap/ fenn in a tunnel . Leaving excess food on the floor is a cert way to attract and cause a problem with rats I have seen time and again . Keep every updated thanks. kent
Remove the feed and put some blue food in tunnels. Fen mark 4 are what I do best with though they won't remove an established population Rats outbreed traps especially with a head start
