FOXHUNTER1
Received a call the other night from a farmer stating that a fox had killed a lamb and badly mauled another. The badly mauled lamb was taken to the vets with a nasty wound to the top of its head , its hanging in there but not sure if it will make it. Last night saw us getting up there , a quick look with the lamp revealed nothing , so had a call in the area where lamb was killed and nothing showed So I moved location and called where I shot a dog fox from a few weeks ago. Started with my favourite Jackrabbit distress which produced nothing , then I switch to dog fox mating call . Foxes eyes showed up a long way off and it appeared to hang up. I then switched the call to screamin rabbit by mistake I must add ....but it had the desired effect as the fox was soon coming through the hedge and trotting towards the caller. A quick HOY stopped it in its tracks and Ratch dropped it on the spot around 120 yds Time will tell if it was the culprit ............. . WelshMike
Well done Mark When I press the wrong sound it normally ends up as the "crow party" or similar noise that has the opposite effect
