guyelson
Hi, I'm just trying to fit my scope to my cz 452 American. It's a nikko sterling scope and rings. Essentially the rings attach to the rail well, but I noticed that the back mount wasn't flush. I realised there is an arrestor pin on the back mount but no hole to locate to on the rail. What is the solution? Thanks guy
walshie
Doesn't the pin wind up so it's not sticking out the bottom of the mount?
guyelson
Hi yes I've just found the pin and wound it up!! I'm guessing this isn't ideal as it won't be quite as secure ? It's .17 hmr so not much kick .... Will not having an arrestor pin in be a problem with this caliber?

Can't be a problem or CZ would have put the relevant hole on the gun. My 223 and 308 don't have the holes or pins, so I wouldn't worry. bruno22rf
The "arrestor" pin is often used with spring powered Airguns - not needed with a RF.
Hendrix's rifle
The "arrestor" pin is often used with spring powered Airguns - not needed with a RF. Iirc its because of the odd recoil?
