Fredwalton
I was chatting to a guy about shooting today and he was saying to shoot crows etc you have to have a good reason to do so ie crop protection, but if they are found to be eating just worms etc you can get in a spot of bother, is this true? B725
No just carry on shooting them how do you know that they are only eating worms
WelshMike
The chances of getting questioned about GL terms...limited. However I think it is always worth reading the GL to ensure you know what is says. I keep a copy of the relevant GL in my pickup just in case. Generally you are shooting corvids to prevent crop damage or disease (if they are pooping in the cattle feed etc). It doesnt say that they have to be causing the damage at the point they are shot. In fact given that most corvids are shot in the air it would be a bit of a problem if it dod.
old man
Remembering that "all birds are protected" W.M. has it covered. Never know when you might encounter the odd one?
