ShootingEgg
Went to a mates land today to check on an old pen thats not been used in two seasons. The idea was to make good and just tidy it up... Well more fool me for thinking that it would be so simple.... Got there to find just a mass of 5ft tall nettles and brambles and a tree had fallen down over the pen. So it turned into 4 hours of clearing and salvaging the panels that had not been written off by the tree.. So just after we got there it looked.like this.. And then 4 hours of hand sawing (didnt have my chainsaw on me) the tree was cleared. Then we started to clear around the pen to get the good panels out. And then the middle, there was a plastic netting that used to be over the top which had become part of the undergrowth. So had to gently persuade that out too.. Now to figure out where to relocate the pen too or put it back where it was... Edited May 29, 2016 by ShootingEgg

ShootingEgg
One will go back there now. Need to get the damaged pen sides out from under the trunk of the tree, that will be a chainsaw job... Then get up the old electric fencing.
