TDS
Have been decorating my stairwell last week and used Crown Solo self undercoating gloss Prep is the key , a light sand to get a good key with a wipe down with a clean cloth /sponge before painting Dont overbrush...i got a really excellent finish , no marks or stripes Tried Dulux " Once " in the past and not overly impressed
NatureBoy
Dulux trade oil based brilliant white satinwood great product! Recommend and use loads! 50+Litres a year. Customers always happy! Easy to use. Self undercoating, durable, quick drying, low odour and easy to touch in. How deep is skirting? Forget roller! light rub down and dust off. 2in masking tape on carpeted areas. Good quality 1in pure bristle brush (Hamilton's perfection). Better pick up! Don't brush out to much. Maybe thin with bit of white spirit. 2 coats where marked chipped or flaking. Never had any probs with it Dulux had probs with whites (gloss) when they had to change formula in 2010 to meet new guidelines but sorted now. Lord Geordie
Much prefer satinwood! The water based variety! Dries very quickly, does not stink the house out, doesn't yellow, and the brushes wash out with water! Brilliant stuff😊
