john12
Evening all Was having a debate with a mate today. With us leaving the eu will this change anything? Ie will lead shot still be banned or will this be reversed? Someone will probably be able to answer this straight away but we couldn't agree on anything. BrowningB525
For starters well still be in the EU for a couple of years. I assume the uk government would have to reverse any laws, so the ban still stands. Edited June 26, 2016 by BrowningB525
Pushandpull
Our government (like most in the region) is signed up to the A.E.W.A. = Afro Eurasian Waterfowl Agreement. Nothing to do with the E.U.
motty
Steel and other non toxic shot is good enough anyway.
Richie10
I used to think that steel was good for crippling birds but with proper choking and better shooting it is as just as a effective.
Stonepark
They might not unban lead shot for wildfowl, but it might allow us to keep using lead shot and lead bullets for game.
