pinfireman
Im being honest with you now not having a cheap shot at you nothing like that, but if i felt like you obviously do about us leaving the EU. Just leave go to France or Spain or another country altogethder. If we had not voted out we were dead set on migrating to BC.. Canada. It would have been a lot of work and time to sort out but we would have been ok in the long run, But now with the possibility Great Britain might just get back on track again, we put it on hold for a few years. And are just having a holiday over there for a month now. You are clearly uneasy about your future here, and can not come to terms with the future so go get out we would have if the boot was on the other foot. What i think is sad here, there are so many unhappy people who are drinking the Coolade from the disgruntled IN crowd , they have got while they believe this. Sure we might have ups and downs for awile but its nothing different to what we have seen before, and eventualy we will be better off, its just keeping the faith, which sadly you and many like you have had sucked out of you . good luck whatever you decide to do. Clearly he is of the same breed who wanted us to join the euro, and prophesied all sorts of disasters when we did not......................the pound climbed, and the Euro fell! And it,s still falling, and will continue to do so, as it is trying to prop up all the basket case economies in Europe! Greece is a basket case, Italian banks are in deep doodoo, Portugal and Spain have huge problems, Austria is having a Presidential re-run....Denmark, and Holland population pressing for a referendum of their owm....what a wonderful future in the EU ! P.S. And the FTSE 100 is now higher than before the referendum, the FTSE 250 almost back to normal, the pound has levelled out, and showing signs of climbing back..... But if you want to live under an undemocratic unelected junta, then off you go.....we decided in 1939 that was not for us, and again on 23rd June..... pinfireman
I find it strange that some people want to live under a benign (?) bureaucratic, undemocratic dictatorship...because that is what the EU is.....personally, I could not put the lure of 30 pieces of silver above freedom! achosenman
OUT! It,s not a "best of three" referendum! If they could not win after all the help from the BBC, most other news channels, most of the Press, what makes them think that things would be different now? They even changed the rules mid-stream to try to keep us in.....remember the computer "crash" at 10-45 p.m. on the last day for people to register to vote? By rights, they should have just given 1 hour and 45 minutes the next day to make up the time....instead, they allowed 2 MORE days for it, all the time telling young people to register, as they knew the young would tend to vote Remain! It had the stink of corruption, yet we still won! During those 2 days, almost 2 million registered, so if they had done the job correctly, we would have won by an even larger majority! I understand that Jeremy Corbyn , currently under pressure from his own MP,s, has said that he sees light at the end of the tunnel........................so he,s ordered more tunnel! Was there not a little matter of around 600,000 non qualifying residents that also got the right to vote in "error" Brexit won by 1.3 million, I wonder what the true figure was without the shenanigans by our state machinery? NickS
I am waiting to see what exactly is on the table beyond having access to the free market at the price of contributing to the EU financially, having to comply with EU regulations and having no say in what those regulations are. If the Leave campaign can deliver on half of what it promised I shall be happy but all I see so far is disagreement and uncertainty. I wish I shared the optimism of some of you but I am reluctant to put my faith in anyone that looks prepared to take some responsibility. Vince Green
Setting aside the Brexit vote, there is a big financial crisis looming in the EU within the next few months. By this time next year a lot of remain voters will be thinking we were right to say we would leave when we did. However, despite the fact that it was going to hit the EU whatever we voted we will surely get the blame for everything.
