mudpatten
The site search engine is a bit light on info. Does anyone have any experience of using Sillosock goose decoys? Do they work, any advice on their use, etc?

Tony G
Have used silo socks with good results in Scotland but the wind needs to be just right Texas rags are another cheap movement decoy for bulking out the pattern
anthonychez
I like to mix mine in with shells . They soon buck a pattern up. I have used them on pink grey and canada with exellent results
Guttersnipe
I use them - got 24, 4:1 feeders to sentries. I bought all Pinks then just put a black sock over the head/neck with a white piece of roof "fleece" stapled to it, which means i can use them early season for Canadas. Greys come into the pink silosocks fine - no need to buy different species... good movement even in the slightest breeze, incredibly light, but keep them in a bag to avoid them getting too dirty. My shells now have 3 seasons worth of dust on them...
fandango
Love em better than shells or full bodies,,, bit of movement does the trick
pigeonblasterian
We just put out six to add a bit of movement and they seem to work as the geese seem to be attracted to the pattern most of the time if they are about.
