Guest cookoff013
please, if you are using data from any source. please have the loads re-checked by a reputable testing facility. Some of those loads are "reloaded to the max" thats 1050bar. please reload safe
Morningflight
Dont use the max data on this page, they also use the brown wads so different data if using mm or tps wads try dropping and work up start at around 48 grains with 42 gram, Eddie
Richie10
I have a load of federal hulls and Sam 1 wads for use with alliant steel, no body have any recipes including these components for 3n38? Thnaks
FatFreddysCat
List of powders in order of burn rate, fast to slow. 3N38 is No.96 on the list, so quite close to blue dot (98) slower than AO (82) and faster than Alliant Steel (105). My give you some idea of a starting point if you're reducing the powder charge from those published loads. http://www.reloadersnest.com/burnrates.asp
