I had my new Beretta 690 with me and wanted to christen it and ended up wth 6 happy days!! Today I decided to go back but this time take with me my hide and my Winchester and try to decoy. so I arrived at around 12:30 and left at 6pm! When I was heading over the fields to where I wanted to set up, a magpie flushed infront of my from the tree so I shot and retrieved it then when j got to the position I wanted I literally dumped my bag and saw a pigeon flying over me so I dropped that one to with one barrel! So far so good haha! Quickly set my hide up and got a few decoys out and added my fresh pigeon to them. Over the course of the afternoon I had a mixture of decoyed birds and birds simply passing over head. I ended up with 15 birds in total, including 1 magpie and 1 lost pigeon unfortunatly.
