meady638
Hi, I bought a Browning B525 elite on Saturday and it came with a set of 4 chokes. my previous Beretta had fixed chokes at 3/4 and 1/2 however the new chokes are labeled differently. Mod Full, Improved, cylinder Can any one tell me what I should be using? 1- for clays @ about 30 yards and 2- game shooting that is coming up any help please to explain this. thanks gun picture included
bruno22rf
You are about to get a myriad of answers but try Cylinder in the bottom and Improved in the top for clays and obviously switch to fire bottom tube at the nearest/fastest target - you will be amazed at how far out a cylinder choked gun will smash clays. wymberley
Just for info, if you've not got all of the options that you think you might need, Teague are now doing them in black.
Old farrier
Nice gun See the two with the most notches in the top of the choke tube Easy no confusion All the best Of

meady638
this is the actual wording with notches I- FULL II-IMP MOD III- MOD IIII-IMP CYL
B25Modelman
IMHO...if you have not got it, get a Cylinder (no notches). You should not need much more than 1/4 for what you want. Use cylinder in the bottom and the Improved cylinder (1/4) in top. To expand, I- FULL = Full II-IMP MOD = 3/4 III- MOD = 1/2 IIII-IMP CYL = 1/4 No notches = Cylinder or True cylinder Edited August 8, 2016 by B25Modelman
