TaxiDriver
In readiness for my return to work after being run over whilst at work, I am looking for a source of personal safety lights that can be clipped onto clothing either on a belt loop or like the Police have, those docking clips where they can clip on radios and the like. Anyone point me in the right direction please ?

Livefast123
After having my work vehicle written off on the A303, i'm of the opinion that you can have all the retroreflective batenberg / super bright strobes etc etc in the world but if that driver isn't concentrating then you are toast. Have a look on the Police websites such as Niton 999 or Copshop who all sell what you are after. Something like this https://www.niton999.co.uk/torches/lightman-remote-activated-strobe-kit.html Edited August 10, 2016 by Livefast123
TaxiDriver
Thank you both, They've got the docks on patrol store but can't see the sort of lamps I had in mind that I've seen worn by Police, The mounted section of my local force used to have lights, lamps (call them what you will) that were clipped onto their vests, also to the horses high vis blanket which I presumed were on the docking system. @ Livefast, yes are right of course, Exactly what happened to me, motorist not paying attention, 40-50 mph up the bed of my brightly lit, reflective liveried 7.5ton recovery truck in clear daylight, open road, bang, took her 100yrds to stop. Thanks again both. Ps. Also found a company called Visionsafe UK
fern01
Might be worth carring some cones to make a safety zone on the road side of your truck. Won't save you if they are texting though

Anyone point me in the right direction please ? Some really good bike lights out there, most come with clips that go onto a belt or arm/head band. Very bright.
