John_R Posted August 22, 2016 Report Share Posted August 22, 2016 I was looking with interest at this thread as I have been having similar thoughts for a gun to add to the cabinet. I decided to look for a Baikal MP153 and got one this morning. I dropped straight round to the farm on the way home, tucked in some undergrowth under a slow trickle of a flight line, and downed a few wood pigeons The gun certainly feels a lot heavier than my Benelli M2, but it is softer in the shoulder and I will be quite happy to get this one mucky if I get down to the shore for some wildfowl this season. I had always fancied trying a gas auto, and this seems a cheap way to do so, not to mention the larger chamber. I asked about chokes as this one only came with the C and M chokes.
