UK Custom Shop great service

After buying my .17 Hornet the next thing on the agenda was a mod. I wanted something calibre specific and there wasn't a lot about locally so after a bit of research I settled on a Wildcat Evo which I had heard good reports about. As the manufacturer UK Custom shop was only a couple of hours away from me I decided to get it from them directly if possible.

After a couple of phone calls an appointment was made for last Friday so off I went in the afternoon to buy a moderator taking my rifle with my to check the fit. After getting lost a couple of times (damn sat nav) I found the workshop and met up with one of their engineers.

 

A spot on customer experience followed, he assembled a .17 Evo mod for me but found that the threads on my new rifle were a bit tight for the moderator fitment. No problem though as he opened out the threads a bit so the mod would fit correctly and turned down the barrel fitting so it was a snug fit as well.

All this was included in the price of the mod. I haven't tried out the mod yet but the reports from other users have been good so I am confident it will do the business. Also from the way I was treated on the initial purchase I am confident that any issues will be sorted straight away.

They are a great mod. Make sure you take off the baffle section every time you have finished shooting.

I picked up one of their lighter and slimmer Evolution mods for my .308.

 

The kit is all interchangeable and I couldn't recommend them and Ali high enough.
