Brexit debate in Parliament today

The EU is on the skids. The sale of diapers in Brussels has trebled apparently. There is panic because they know full well when we go the whole house of cards will fall. Already Sweden, Denmark and even some eastern European countries are mumbling and grumbling.

It is absolutely correct in that the vast majority of those pushing for a second vote are also scared that their finances will suffer. Major industries are different with Bamford coming out today and saying through hell and high water he believes the UK will be far better off getting out and Nissan and Toyota confirming new models to be built here in the future.

I am still waiting for World War Three. The only people who start wars are politicians such as Blair, not the people and the people have spoken. If that is ignored then democracy is dead.

That is why Brussels is so cold towards Theresa May. They know that she is determined to leave and that signals the end of their gravy train. Canada has just struck a deal with the EU that does not involve freedom of movement and there is no way that any German or French politician would risk widespread job losses by insisting that the UK accept a Utopian ideal over trade deals and continuation of exports to the UK.

The EU might huff and puff, but those who rely on the electorate know where their bread is buttered.
