steve_b_wales
I've stripped mine down a few times. I clean the gunk out with Parker Hale 009 Nitro Powder Solvent.Brushed on and left to soak in, it cleans it up a treat.

I must get some of that stuff and try it out 👍🏻 I've always used parker Hale 009. Many year ago, I used it to clean the chambers of my centrefire pistols. It works well and is not expensive. Dougy
I found that the HMR burns the sak so swapped it for something more up to the job. Clean or not it still burns the baffles out.
