Fredwalton
I have a SxS (Ugartechea) that I don't very often but I was wondering: How can I find out what chamber it is I suspect it's 70 as it this written on the barrels Secondly can you convert a non ejector into an ejector or would I be better off at selling this and buying an ejector? Thanks
JohnfromUK
Chamber length is included in the proof marks on (or near) the barrel flats. 70mm sounds likely as many (most?) Spanish 12's are 70mm, but if in doubt check. There are plenty marks found by Google, or visit a gunsmith. Whilst technically possible to convert to ejector, it won't make sense cost wise. Spanish ejectors are not expensive for a serviceable gun.
motty
I'm not sure what shooting you do, but are ejectors really necessary?

On each barrell it has 12 then 70 so that's what made me think it was 70 I'm not sure what shooting you do, but are ejectors really necessary? I'm thinking of using it if I'm lucky enough for a game day this year. I don't think the ejector is necessary but just prefer an ejector
Gunman
Conversion to ejector is and always has been an expensive job . For what it would cost you can go out and buy a decent AyA No2 and you Ugartachea would still only be worth £150 .
triumphant59
Look for a Ugartechea ejector, you should find one for £200 you could sell, yours for £125. Daft thing is when new ejector would have been £20 more!
