steve_b_wales
I have the above tablet, and recently, I have to press hard on the screen to do anything. Is there something I can do to make it more responsive?
buze
You are lucky your N7 lasted this long. Mine was bricked by google with an over the air update quite a while back now! Changed to a N9 2 years ago, and it's now also falling apart.

Simonc_here
You shouldn't have to press it hard at all, in fact pressing harder should be worse than a gentle touch. These aren't the resistive displays of older products. Other than it might just be dead, you could try giving the screen a damn good clean as oils and dust make them unresponsive. steve_b_wales
To be honest, it's not used much. Sometimes I take it with me on holidays, so I can read one the Amazon Kindle books that I purchase. Or it's used for games like word search etc. I'll give it a good clean and try it again. If it's still the same, then I'll get rid of it.
kernel gadaffi
Just bought a 10" Lenovo Tab2 A10-30 from Style for under £100, cracking little unit.
activeviii
Have you a scratch screen on the n7. Had to take it off mine as it caused problems. Also I find I can't put it flat and just use one digit to scroll. I have to be touching the edge as well. In other words hold it to use. My lads works just fine though. I haven't tried using it when it's flat on a table etc. I'll try it.
