herby
Hi All Can you send a patent in with no drawings as long as it is a clear description and submit drawings at a later date if needed? Thanks
BrowningB525
Most patents I've seen have basic sketches.

HDAV
Be very careful anything in public domain can't patent anywhere but the US, patenting is very expensive, go see a patent lawyer!
herby
It is more a method. Marrying two or more ideas together and can be explained in text just as good.

herby
Be very careful anything in public domain can't patent anywhere but the US, patenting is very expensive, go see a patent lawyer! It costs just over £200 to file paper work and about £3,000 if I was to get a lawyer to do it. Is this what you mean as the expensive part or am I missing something drastic? I had quick chat with patent lawyer and he said I could file it in the U.K. and then have 12 months to do a world wide patent if not it would only be valid in the U.K.
HDAV
But as soon as file in the uk the clock is ticking and if you don't file in every country the you have no enforcement and your work is in the public domain for anyone to copy........ oowee
If you cannot afford to fully patent then its likely that you will not be able to defend the patent if you get it.
