wymberley
Guns and me in the car and flash up the M5 and then across the Somerset countryside coming to a stop at the UK Gun Repairs. There's something iffy, thinks me and then I saw the sign - "we've moved". Great, just bloody great! Being somewhat deaf, moblie phones aren't much use to me. Drive back home, sort it all out and then hurtle back up the M5 and across the Somerset countrysde ending up at their new location which is just a few miles from where I was 90 minutes previously. I then discovered the reason for the move and also that the lack of new address on the sign was no fault of Dennis and Co. I am aware that various members are customers so to avoid anyone suffering the same problem, the new location is: Unit 1-2, Heathfield Workshops, Manor Farm, Heathfield, Taunton, TA4 1DL. The phone numbers remain the same. Actually, the guys have done well out of the move. There is now a formal retail outlet attached which is well stocked with new and used guns and you can be pretty sure that the latter will be right as they'll have been checked over and any necessary work carried out in house to their usual high standard. Was invited to view the cartridge 'locker'. Let's just say it's comprehensive which says it all. All's well that ends well as I was given a bit of news regarding the value of one gun which shook me rigid. Quite enjoyed the drive home at a more sedate speed enjoying the countryside with a silly grin all over my face. HDAV
Good to know! I was thinking of popping in next time I'm in the area, they have grown massively in a few years and it seems not lost any of the charm or quality (I hope) I remember when the stocks were done in the shed

wymberley
What are they stocking? Cart wise? From what Dennis was saying and from what I saw - too much to take it all in - RC and Gamebore.
welshwarrior
Dennis and Brian have done a great job down there and with a couple of traps to help with gun fitting it's a very good service they offer.
