First Cabinet help

Me and my other half are wanting to buy a cabinet for shotgun storage. After some thinking we are leaning towards a 3 gun and probably second hand to keep cost lower. This will be our first time going for sgc and would like to know your opinions for cabinet size (too small/big), fixtures etc. Also if anybody knows of a cabinet for sale near Sheffield/Rotherham in a local rfd or at a club/clay ground thats up to current British standard for sale please point us in the right direction.

The main problem with the three gun cabinets is that the door doesn't open wide enough. The tang that prevents a bar going behind the door to force it off will interfere with any guns in the cabinet. Without care, any gun in the right hand side will get caught by this tang and get scratched.

As everybody has said, get the biggest one you can afford. For the two of you, a seven gun cabinet would seem to be correct. Shooting is very addictive and you will soon need to upgrade a 3 gun cabinet.
