Benkent
You can send airsoft weapons with ups so I'd have thought it would be the same for air rifles? Edited February 12, 2017 by Benkent
phaedra1106
You can send section 1&2 firearms using the Post Office, you must use a 24Hr service and they must go to someone with the relevant authority such as an RFD, you can't send directly to another SGC or FAC holder. https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/94/~/restricted-goods---personal-customers "Guns for sporting use Guns intended for sporting purposes - including Section 1 (e.g. hunting rifles) and Section 2 (e.g. shotguns) firearms, low-powered air weapons and their component parts - may be sent in compliance with UK law and subject to domestic controls on the possession of firearms. Antiques, deactivated and imitation firearms are also permitted. When sending deactivated firearms include proof of deactivation. Items that appear to be prohibited weapons may be subject to additional checks and delays. Please see www.royalmail.com/prohibitedgoodsUse 1st Class as the minimum service. The sender’s name and address must be clearly visible on the outer packaging." Edited February 13, 2017 by phaedra1106
big bad lindz
As it is a requirement in Scottish law to now have a licence for an air weapon the statement "may be sent in compliance with UK law and subject to domestic controls on the possession of firearms" might not apply unless the sending / selling party in Scotland has either a current firearm certificate or a new certificate for an air weapon Speak to BASC or what ever association you may be a member of foe advice.
