kie1981 Posted February 11, 2017 Report Share Posted February 11, 2017 Hi all, I have what seems to be a weired winchester 101 xtr, it is chambered for 3" cartridges has a black action and is winchoke on both barrels. I have seen quite a few 101's for sale but very few (if any) like this one, the serial no starts with a k. I have tried to find a manufacture date / information with no success. Guest Posted February 11, 2017 Report Share Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) The k before the serial number means it was made by Olin kodensa Japan around the early 80s. The plant closed in 1989.
