walt1980
Got a Lee load all 2 the other week, should I of had a bush for 30g loads? There's 1oz and 1 1/8oz, thought about putting a sleeve inside the bush? To be honest 32g will be fine, just wondered tho. Also on the powder side, been given a load for Nobel 80, 28grn, the most I can get in the biggest bush (0.198) is about 26grn. Do they do bigger bushes or can I double load an amount from a smaller bush? (Bit of a pain but easier than measuring each load on a scale) Are the measurements on the bushes a diameter? So could I drop 0.110 twice to effectively be a 0.220 bush?
wigeon jim
Best bet is to find a bush that drops half the powder charge and drop twice, can only do that if you powder all you cases first, you can also cut down or file out a bush to suit, Jim. rbrowning2
Not sure I would want to drop twice to get the total powder dose, each drop is never exact so you are summing the errors which could be bad news. Need a mathematics expert to confirm this. Modify the bush but check data for Nobel 80 first. It's a very old powder.
walt1980
Every time I'm using a new powder or a different bush I'm weighing the amount on my scales and listing it.
panoma1
The old Lee Loadalls were supplied with an extra bushing (for the UK market) to accommodate bulky Nobel powders, it was .224...... it held:- 26.9g No 60 29.6g No 62 30.9g No 64 23.1g No 78 23.5g No 80 25.8g No
hankook1
when i had mine if i wanted to make the powder or shot bushes hold more i simply cut them shorter a bit at a time until it droped the correct weight they are only plastic i also countersunk the top edge as well so ingredients slid down nicely worked a treat . Midimax
Use your unwanted credit cards cut to fit and wedge them inside the powder or shot bush and they will drop desired weight accurately every time !!
