The Mighty Prawn
Storm Doris has just liberated the ridge tiles and the top three rows of slates from my house - every couple of minutes another slate breaks loose and slides down to inevitable death on the concrete. In the loft you now have a lovely amount of natural light and the ventilation is much improved - finally that condensation problem has a solution. Called insurance and in the background could hear all the calls were on the same subject, now just need to find a roofer locally that isn't up to his neck already. Roll on springtime! figgy
If you find a roofer put the lottery on this week your numbers may come up. Put some tarps over your house roped down to the brick work.
AVB
One of our trees came down that blocked our drive and took down the power lines. Nationsl power (or whoever they are called) were out within a couple of hours and removed tree. Impressed.
vampire
So far i have had no calls, but normaly its tiles and fences. Your insurance company should come out and make water tight.
