Gonna Shoot a Wabbit
nice pics. I must confess i know very little about falconry, can owls be used / trained like hawks and falcons? Like most people i have a soft spot for barn owls! It would be nice if you could post pics as breeze matures. by what sort of age does the adult plumage begin to show? pestbry
I had a barnie like that about 10 yrs ago she was great fun also had her flying free. My daiughter named her STRAWBERRRY lol, we had her in the house then we moved her to a shed while the double glazers did their job. Went to feed her after the second morning of her being moved, she was dead on the floor . All the family were devastated, aways wanted another but never got round to it, when we went to buy her she was just showing a few feathers and a little girl had 4 in a pram walking them around the garden lol (like dolls ) Nice pics Bry
Cranfield
kiya, more excellent pictures, thanks a lot. That is a beautiful bird, we have many adults in our area, but at 17 days old , only a mother could love that face.
