You'll need to "rip" / copy the DVD to a file format that is supported by your telly. Something like .mp4 or .mkv or .avi There are plenty of free tools to do this - probably nest to have a Google or wait for someone will come along with recommendations. HDAV
DVD shrink used to be the tool of choice...... Your bypassing the copy protection so expect a hurdle or 2 to jump through http://www.dvdshrink.org

Your bypassing the copy protection so expect a hurdle or 2 to jump through http://www.dvdshrink.org Dvd shrink doesn't bypass the protection it just shrinks a 7+gig dvd down to 4+gig dvd. Dvd decrypter used to be used to remove the copyright protection.

Luckyshot
DVD shrink does bypass the copy protection, how else does it copy the DVD? It copy's the DVD But not fully i.e. Titles, subtitles you need DVD decrypter or alternative programme To do that and you keep the full DVD not a custom copy of it.
