Mackenzie
So I've seen a few people with camo covers on their silencers are these just to cam it up or do the stop the heat waves distorting your sight picture
racing snake
I use one on a Wildcat Evo, I 'think' it makes it a shade quieter but it certainly stops it freezing on a really cold night. Unless you're zeroing I wouldn't have thought you put enough rounds through in rapid succession to get any distortion of sight picture. Mackenzie
Interesting I didn't even think about what the cold would do
saddler
Tempted to make myself a canvas one with brass eyelets, Sten mk.IIS style. Got the correct canvas, may even kine it with felt... Just to stop cooked fingers when removing it.

Red-dot
I use the Bushwear neoprene and it does silence the T8 "TING".
Longstrider
I fitted a neoprene cover to my mod simply to eliminate the 'ting'. Damned thing rings like a bell if you touch it on the smallest twig otherwise.
