figgy
When I first read this I thought oh that's good we're now covered by this as part of our insurance cover under BASC but no it's a separate policy we have to pay for. BASC are just advertising it and getting a discount.
David BASC
Yes its an additional policy that those who may need the cover can buy, much like our working dog insurance for vet bills or our gun and accessoryinsurance
shoot and be safe
Does it cover you for an unscrupulous keeper who takes your money in advance of the season, when he knows full well he is being run off the shoot?

srspower
Why is it that if you let your membership at basc lapse for a couple of months then renew they renew it from the date you let it lapse rather than the date you renewed? Does that mean there is a grace period in which you are still covered after your membership runs out David BASC?
David BASC
Yes, all members have a 90 day period of grace , during which you are still covered, still get the mag etc.

David BASC
Dear All, regarding someone taking money by deception this would not be covered under the cancelation policy. However, if you had paid by credit or debit card you could claim compensation under the card schemes of course
