Cranfield
The only commercial 20ga subsonic cartridge I have ever found is the Gamebore Hushpower 30gm No5. Its not easy to find anyone who stocks them, I get mine from Just Cartridges.
quentyn
thanks thats where i got my last load, he seemed to have another subsonic 20g load in stock for clay shooting but i didnt grab any. I wonder if proper cartridges would load them at a decent price per K ?

ChrisPCarter
I asked the same question recently and most seemed to comment that the Gamebore ones were incredibly slow and generally ****, which given the price, isn't good. Most seem to be using the Eley Hushpower clay loads in 7.5 shot for pigeons etc. I tried some recently and they did seem OK on decoyed birds as the Hushpower barrel is full choke I believe. getthegat
I have 2 moderated 20s and unless really close to houses, have given up with subs. The noise level from non subs is not that bad. I use Gamebird 6s though recently got some Lyalvale shells, which definitely have a bit more of a crack. Not sure of the speed of these. Also bought some Fiocchi, but not tried them yet. Been surprised how good the 24grm 6s are, over the 28 or 30grm, better pattern.
