RingDove
I have two .243 rounds that have somehow got dented on the case just before the point where they are necked down. Is it ok to fire these?

fortune
As long as the case isn't split and the dent is just a dent and not a deep sharp fold it's ok. No different to fire forming a case to a different chamber size like a wild cat.

Is it ok to fire these? The dent could have been caused by pressure building up in the die. I used to use Lee resizing lube, and found that when it built up in the dies, it caused dents in the cases. RingDove
Thanks all. Just to clarify, these are factory rounds, not reloads. Edited April 10, 2017 by RingDove
